It’s close. No Pipe Masters today, but it’s looking really good for later in the week. We’re hearing a solid west swell on Friday, Saturday and Sunday might mean Pipe runs straight through. It’s looking epic. A swell worthy of such a huge event.

I gave you our hotel info yesterday so don’t lose it as we are only 3 miles from that killer spot. It’s nice to briefly meet a pro surfer who doesn’t seem to let his fame go to his head. I can’t stand the people with egos too big to be cool to others so thanks for being so nice. I may have some pics and video to send so how would I go about getting it to you? Aloha and it was a priveledge getting to watch you rip… oh, and thanks for the butt shot too… hahaha…
